Hi I’m Steven. I’m a part-time photographer in the Worcester, MA area. I’ve loved taking photos since I was a kid and started with my Kodak Instamatic 110mm camera with cube flashes. Then my family got us a Polaroid instant camera when they were all the rage before switching to a 35mm color film camera. Later in life, I went back to college as an adult and took some photography courses. I learned how to developing and print 35mm B&W film, and was proud to hear I had an ability to see things in a unique way. Working with film was exciting, but time consuming, and messy, and digital cameras were getting better and better every day. Since then, I have dedicated much time reading and shooting, becoming a self taught photographer. Loving the digital technology I left film for good owning a number of digital cameras through the years, updating more recently to professional grade equipment as I transition my passion for photography into a part-time business. My approach is to photograph people at that special moment when personality and style come together. This requires getting comfortable and almost forgetting the camera is pointed at you. At events, I move around unobtrusively and capture those priceless moments. When photographing things such as landscapes and architecture I’m a perfectionist. I want be sure the details are accounted for, always striving for a better shot, and a different way to look at something. The pleasure of photography is highly subjective so everyone won’t always like my photographs. I am however deeply committed to customer service and want to be sure you get what you’re looking for. Photography is exciting and rewarding to me and though this endeavor will be challenging I want to share my passion with others. I truly hope my love for capturing the beauty in people, places, art, products, and nature that surrounds us all will create memories that will be shared forever.
